Important Notice!

Dear Roberto Central School District families,

Recently Superitendent Joe Smith released a district-wide email announcing that he would be departing the district after the close of the 2026-2027 school year, to focus on his family and retire at the end of this upcoming school year. 

Our district has already begun its search for his replacement and we thank him for his many years of service to our district. We will continue to provide updates on our search for the next Superintendent of our district. This will be a lengthy process and we will provide profiles for prospective candidates so that our school community can get a preview of each candidate. 

Any prospective candidates will be updated through our Public Candidate portal which can be accessed here.

Summer Capital Project Updates 2026-2027

The Roberto Central School District has been working to complete the expansion on the high school throughout the school year and the this summer. We have yet to learn of an expected completion date but we expect that to be announced as early as Winter Break. Several projects that will be worked on during the 2026 summer vacation include:

1. Continued progress on the High School Expansion Project

2. Air Conditioning Repair Work On The Elementary School Building

3. Resurfacing Work On The Elementary Parking Lot/Bus Loop

4. Repair Work On The High School/Middle Roof
